I did another search for AVAST and found this: see attachment. You're the man! This is not 100% cut and dried...and some A/V programs or scans do not distinguish between the AD-junk and other malware. My computer tech, not being available to come to my home until next Wednesday September 1st, suggested I post one last request here.
