I unhooked my old psu, hooked up my new one and the PC turned on and I turned it back off from the power button on the case. About the only way to troubleshoot this is to apply minimum load to the PS such as disconnect everything you can and see if the PS fires up. Not necessarily an ideal power source. I ran a diagnostic check from the startup, says the HDD is fine. So the next step would be to try a new PSU.
