With suitable (large) heat sinks capable of dissipating about 10W each it should be good for about +/-0.6A. Once I had them in hand, I found out that they were powered by 24VDC supplies also available from Sylvania. In this case the ripple is double so the capacitor should be double as well, and most important both sides should be equally loaded, otherwise transformer becomes hot. In the event of a failure, however, a single-rail power supply has the potential to shoot much more current into your components.
