Problem With "Make Movie" In Pinnacle Studio 8.12

For video I use RAID 0. I hope this is not a negative for Corel. I keep all footage ( 99.9%) on original dv tapes , they are cheaper to keep , and contain all original info. I have a faint recolection of deliberately not having installed SP3 because of some conflict with software I use, can't recall which. useful reference

from +RW disk to MPG on the hard drive. But you can work it out from there if you have Vista/W7. _____________________________Well, I did have a signature, but people kept forging it - So now I don't sign anything. Quality is lowered, but at least sync is maintained. What was going to be my last ever project using Pinnacle Studio (I'm using version 15 Ultimate; version 16 is still awaiting its first use) has failed to be concluded because

I am absolutely sick and fed up with Pinnacle Studio. The divx avi files I tried it couldn't read. My concise advice - If you are looking for a software product that works well right out of the box, and if you do not intend to do some work to visit pj123 15:31 27 Dec 05 Sonic MyDVD captured and burned to DVD perfect.

But clicking on OK (for go) just brings up the code: 0/114468 @ -:-:-:- and [00:00:00 - .... My only issue with this package is how EXTREMELY slow it is rendering. Bought 9.4, Captures fine, Edits fine, Make Movie, well that's another story. My Tut for Vista/W7 is missing.

I recently acquired a DVC 150b with Studio 9.4.3. It work great even with my old computer, just slow. The first couple clips are OK, but later clips have out of sync problem, the video track also gets out of sync with the still images and audio track, as much Either I am the most inept computer operator or these things only work in the design team's thinking.

I don't know how to fix this problem. see here Your video will jump slightly at the clipped point on the disc but it will play. I have had to tinker with it, and contact tech support due to the output appearing very pixelated. I'm a bit surprised with this as the graphics subsytem is unchanged (Radeo 9700 Pro) but I will keep persevering until I get it right.

Have had problem after problem. And, all versions of Movie Studio Platinum are on special offer until the end of February. Are you NTSC or PAL? this page Inept.

Error free DVD writing, at least for me. So I went and bought a new card G-Force 6600 with 256MB of memory. I been mostly happy with it but am growing tired of its poorer performance, and the output issues.

In addition, there is no support available.

  • Skybot tells me it is fixed, BUT when I run Spybot again it is still there!
  • So far it seems I wasted my money on Pinnacle Studio 10.
  • There was no indication that anything was happening - and I was right: it didn't work on 15 at the same time!

thanks, Ted Top January 25, 2006 - 09:09 #1 caryjoy Offline Joined: May 10 2005 Ted, you have a fundamental problem in that 700mb RAM is not enough, you need to Not only did it help to find someone else who had given up on Pinnacle Studio - I wasn't alone in having problems - but your praise of Sony Movie Studio Or, you migrate it to a new computer and the sofware vendor has the right to say, "We don't support that package any more - why don't you upgrade?" And after I did this once before on the advice of Pinnacle user/experts (now known as Video Friends members) to solve a problem.

Jun 2, 2005 Version: 9.4.3 OS: WinXP Ease: 8/10 Functionality: 8/10 Value: 3/10 Overall: 4/10 Post #107 by nicksson Sorry for my poor english. Well it doesn't happen now; although I don't know what I did! Pinnacle Studio has been good in many ways, not least because I like the ease of working with it - when it is working. http://nuvisiongraphx.com/problem-with/problem-with.html Keevin DosterDecember 31st, 2004, 01:27 PMI'm sorry - the problem isn't in Ulead MF3 - we're talking Pinnacle here.

Trying to render and burn to disc or render to file only brings up strange codings which never used to appear. I will never do business with Pinnacle again. But then, something new to me, a programme code appears in the window above the Create Disc button. Further "back-ups" still to be used: Magix Movie Edit Pro, Serif MoviePlus X6 and Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13.

It takes over 1 minute just to load. Now I am using a raid 0 system with 4 western raptors 10k rpm using one partion for the os and the other for capture. You need to reboot the system to solve that. 4: The system write and read too much to the disk and slow the system. 5: The sound generator don't work. I met Bob Crabtree on the Computer Video Editing stand at Wembly a couple of years ago, a very clever computer/ video man. Like a hydra, every time one problem is "resolved" or worked around, another sprouts its ugly head.

Some Studio plug-ins are brilliant, but take more time to master than the usual household DW Griffith has available. I have 2 gigs of ram, so don't try to edit video with a slow weak computer. THAT'S NOT RIGHT. Tried it once and it was fiddly, gonna wait til I get some pennies on payday and by a dvd recorder.

For the past year I've been working with an all-new system specifically chosen to work with Studio, and still it keeps coming up with new bugs to stump me. I also burn some standard DVDs from the same project sources. Er, I can't . . .
