And your best option is IMO to get a win-7 disk and do a restore/repair. For some reason, I aborted the procedure, but I was left with a dual-boot menu on startup -- my normal XP Home, and some abbreviated XP. This will reverse/negate your selecting cores (no check in the box). Question is !
